And it's not even close because girls were banned from playing football for years even though it was massively popular 100 years ago.
It's not close because the last time these 2 teams played in a final (13 years ago) the English women weren't even playing professionally.
It's not close because its a game in its infancy, that's finally getting coverage and the input it deserves to get to days like this, which will only inspire the young girls of today.

Womens football is it's own sport, it shouldn't be compared to mens ever. You don't compare mens/women's tennis,cricket,rugby etc. You don't compare the premiership to division 2. It's it's own entity and the sooner people accept it's here and here to stay the better

England have just won something at senior level.
I never believed I would see it in my lifetime.
