Wire have released their 17th studio album today, Mind Hive. If you've never checked them out before this is a good one to try first. Best album of the year so far

Got my copy the other day. It's fantastic and carries on a fine run of recent albums. Going to see them at the Brudenell in Leeds next week.

Band called She Drew The Gun, they're on my "To See" list but Wire takes precedence!

Saw them in Bristol a couple of years ago. It was a bit like seeing your geography teacher getting up on stage. Enjoyable though.

She looks & sounds a lot better than my old Geography teachers at Brookside back in 77/78 - Mr Lawson I think his name was.

That wire track is really good Dave. Just reading the album review. Remember seeing them at The Crypt in 70s. I thought they were superb all my mates except one hated them.
The She Drew The Gun track is good as well. They were first class when they were support at Westgarth. Unfortunately another I will miss due to holidays. This is bad planning on my part a I was going to go later in Feb but changed mind at last minute.

Yeah That's where I'm going. I like She Drew The Gun. I've seen them twice before both supporting Cabbage, at The Westgarth and York.
