Winter songs/albums recommendations?

Thanks for all the recommendations. I've listened to some of them so far, and will be listening to them all in full.

Cheers - the video is blocked in the UK I think, but I've used a VPN to access it. For those that can't see the video, it's Walk Out To Winter - Aztec Camera (y)
Cheers dan_ashcroft...was on my phone on the train on the way to work so wasn't easy, but there is no way I could have missed posting that track!

Hmm, after watching all the vids, so far a very disappointing thread answer to a good question. Maybe there aren't that many good, original ones

There will be a case of making an emotional connection to a song. If you are feeling certain way when listening to a song, then listening to it again in the future will retrigger the emotions. For example, the track I linked to called Ghafoor's Bus has the lyrics "Well the mist was lifting from Roseberry Topping", and the moors were cold and green", but I always visualise snow covered hills as that's what I saw whilst driving when I first listened to it.

I also think that enjoyment of a track comes from familarity, which is both why tracks can grow on you over time, and also why many hit songs are based around the same chord sequences. If you are already familar with a chord sequence then you will immediately like a track, however it also leads to fast fatigue. That's why the growers are often the best.

Lots of winter songs around which only get played at Christmas and not through winter for some reason.
Bit of Dean martin
Winter wonderland, let it snow and baby it's cold outside, none to my knowledge mention Xmas.
Smith and burrows album is excellent
