Wing

Watching the Rotherham game. Wing is still a pub team player. Please never come back to the Boro.

Well he wasn't going to change. He isn't very good and nor will he ever be. League one should be his top level really and that's on a good day.

I watched the game for about 5 to 10 minutes and didn't realise he was on the pitch, never saw him with the ball and never heard the commentator mention his name.

It also depressed me that we were so soundly beaten by Rotherham recently. We might be reasonably close to Bournemouth on points, but we really don't compare football wise.

Commentator said "Wing has had s really good game" early in the second half. @asredastheycome comments about right.

That doesn't mean he was right, just a commentator's opinion.
I thought it was right and the commentator mentioned his name as much as any player. He was less effective, as were the reast of the Rotherham midfield, when Bournemouth crowded the midfield area to hold on to their lead.

Why are people so quick to knock him ? Came from non league and has played well and scored some great goals for us. Maybe he is getting found out a bit after his quick rise but i hope he goes on to have a good career in football.
Here, here, he's achieved what many of us would dream of doing, playing for the Boro

I really hope he stays at the level he is, good message to younger players playing at non league level, never give up

I agree that Wingy gets a hard time on here. Not the most gifted player admittedly but given a chance near the box he is- in my opinion- one likely to score. I would keep him .

A year or so back people were saying how great he was and he would be a Premier League player.

Now Watmore, Dijksteel etc are world beaters according to the same "fans" & no doubt they will be slaughtering them or someone else soon.

The original post is quite disappointing, Wing's not even playing for us at the moment yet he feels the need to come on here and start a post slagging him off.

Perhaps he's been found out & isn't good enough at this level, perhaps he'll come back with more experience and be the player we thought he might be.

Lets just give him a chance eh?

Must say I have even quite disappointed in him this season and last season too, to be honest. But, I wouldn’t of let him go this month and not replaced him. I think that’s a poor call given Morsy and Saville in my opinion don’t function together, Having Wing is better than having no one and he does have his strengths aswell as his obvious weaknesses. He’s always good for a goal but need more than that to start games.

Can’t wait for Tav to be back.
