Well he's offered the far end of not a lot and Akpom is undertaking a thankless task. Spence seems to always try and take the safe option and then mess it up.

We're missing Saville.

Still nil each and they have offered nothing so can't complain too much.

Completely agree, bring Browne on for Wing and Roberts for Spence
 
Not sure whats happened to him but he looks like a northern league player

I think Coulson is good enough up until a point, his crossing and shooting is bang average but he can beat a man and has decent link up with Bola. I do think Johnson brings better delivery when he is playing though
 
He's a deep-lying playmaker.That's the role he operated in under Pulis when he first broke into the team and impressed us. He's not a no10. He can't receive the ball on the half-turn, he just isn't mobile enough and struggles to get the ball out of his feet most of the time. He needs to play in a deeper role where he's more likely to have time on the ball and he can look up and see what's around him. Think the reality is though, even playing in his preferred role he's currently playing above his level.

Yeah he’s a deep lying midfielder I have always said that. But unfortunately it’s probably at about league 2 level.
 
Awful today.
I want to like him and of course I'll always support him when he's on the pitch, as I would do with any Boro player, but I can't remember the last time he played well.

The last time he played consistently well over a 5 or 6 spell was under Pulis when he first broke into the team. That seems a long, long time ago now though.
 
He got given the role of following one of there players the commentator said. So he probs did his team role well as they didnt score. Were used to watching him play free but them days have gone. We should remember posters have had practically our full team in the northern league over the last 2 years. Howson,saville,dyksteel,bola,johnson,fry, to name but a few have had the treatment. Guess the board will always want that one player out.

It’s just rating him as I see him. He isn’t on the same level as any of the other players and I don’t think he has it in him to get to that level. Hope everything’s ok with Saville and Morsy once international break is over because they both come straight back in for me.

Spot on. Did the job he was given well and Brentford looked very ordinary.

I agree in whats said but we keep saying one player is northern league. And look at the list included in that. The lads not young but he is to pro football. Hes struggling. But never did owt much today but as about 7th choice midfield he did a job in there. We all would rather morsey etc at the minute. But just think back and give the lad a chance to come back. We just seem to have to hammer someone but are often proved wrong in time
