I couldn’t believe these were still in existence, they still have them down south, used to go to the one in Boro regularly, it was down near the Shakey.......aWimpy Grill or a Shanty Brunch for me......would you even be allowed to advertise a Bender Brunch nowadays......???

Used to love a Wimpy. Much better than McDonalds. Didn’t know they were still going to be honest, always thought they got bought out by Burger King but evidently not.

I love a Wimpy. Go the Swanage one a bit. Some of the London ones used to sell beer, so u could have a burger & bottle of lager. Thats living.

They sort of went the fast food route for a bit, but the ones left seem to be the old skool ones,where you have a sit down meal.

As a kid I always used to wonder what those orangey brown circular things were on the Wimpey posters until I realised it was a sausage sliced into sections and arranged in a circle. Posh or what? (!)

There's one in my local high street, but it's surrounded by other places to eat and frankly it can't compete for my affections.
