I wish I had kept all the stuff I collected as a kid. It all went when I reached my late teens.
I know somewhere in my house is a picture of me with Bob Dennison (the then manager) and my Dads cousin. Mick McNeil (Boro and England) they were holding me up as I was trying to kick a big casey. . I think it was at Hutton Rd.
Incidentally the first Boro keeper I saw was Esmond Million. He left not long after and was banned for life for taking a £300 bribe to throw a game when playing for Bristol Rovers .

That was Arthur Lightening. He was born in Durban SA and returned there when he left the Boro.
