the window is open until the 16th for transfers between domestic clubs i'm assuming this is the deadline for when you can register free agents also.
 
I don't know much about Maddison as a person. Ok other than how he spat his dummy out at posh and apparently loves insta (check me out down with the kids).

He maybe a bell end. I agree though as a free and clearly struggling to get a club he maybe worth a punt. He's training with none league sides so maybe get him in to train.

I've seen plenty of his career and always though he looked quality. He's direct / quick and scores double figures and most EFL assists over a 3-4 year period.

Hes the only bloke I know to have a YouTube montage of assists. He's a crossing machine👍

That said he's still not got a club. So feck knows what he's asking wage wise.

Nice to add would be 2 x creative types, possibly a LB.

The way the world is with COVID, we may have to go as we are. The club simply needs to survive this situation.

Everyone is in the same boat, it makes no sense to go as we are. The Championship is a big league and as much as there is money in the prem, there is only a limited amount of clubs to play for. Boro are a potential stepping stone to the premier league for young players.. go up with boro or ply your trade in the championship and attract the attention of premier league clubs.
 
It's pretty much 3 games a week through October and into November post International break. We need a squad.

I'm glad that we are out of the cup. A game a week for 3 weeks. Liverpool are playing Monday Thursday Sunday (not that I'm arsed). Spurs have an even more brutal fixture list.

I think in some ways they could have just chinned off the domestic cups.

We have Howson, Saville, McNair, Tavernier, Browne, Morsy who can play midfield so I think we could afford to lose wing. Especially if we could bring in a decent creative midfielder
 
McNair is the one more likely to receive interest , Stoke already enquired , and at £4-£5m he would be sold I would have thought .
Fletcher and Britt are also up for sale with their contracts having a year left , and any decent bid will be considered I think .
Pears will almost certainly go , Mogga has only offered £200k up to now, so expect him to raise a bid to £400k which would see him go.
Midfield - Morsy , Howson , Saville , Wing ,Browne , Tav and even Djiksteel , if Paddy went we may look to get him replaced . Whiteman would be a decent replacement and see us bank a couple of million, or maybe the Forest lad .

I wouldn’t class Ben Liddle as close to first team to be honest. He needs to leave on loan. And selling Wing for a creative type would be a great bit of business for me but can’t see it happening.

McNair is an absolute gem in the position that he is currently playing. Difficult to replace in my opinion and it would be crackers to replace him with a midfielder.

I think that’s what Wing’s role is supposed to be. Some sort of Quasi Mowatt/Maddison type player. Pretty much lumping all our creative problems at his door and giving him more defensive responsibilities.
