It does seem quiet in the whole market at present.
Been 250 miles from London does not help with some signings, but it didn't stop Gary Monk who signed 8 players in one Summer. Its often international players and their partners who want to be near London.
Not having big money to spend is the biggest drawback. Moneywise we are an average Championship club, no parachute payment, no stadium sales, no special commercial deals, so we have to carful with the cash as per teams like Brentford and Preston. I still think in the football world Middlesbrough is seen as a good Championship club with strong fan base for the division and excellent training facilities and stadium. Our away support is probably the best in the division now Leeds has gone or at least equal best.
