Seven games to play, looking at their fixtures:

2/04 Home
Gillingham (20th)

9/04 Away
Oxford United (5th)

15/04 Home
Shrewsbury Town (16th)

18/04 Away
Plymouth Argyle (4th)

23/04 Home
Cambridge United (17th)

26/04 Home
Rotherham United (1st)

30/04 Away
Morecambe (22nd)

They should beat Gillingham, Shrewsbury, Cambridge and Morecambe. I think they will probably lose to Plymouth who are on a phenomenal run. I reckon Oxford is the big one if they get a draw there then the next big one is Rotherham who have had a wobble but look to have steadied?

I honestly can't see them getting further than the sneaking in though even that isn't easy, but once you are in the Play offs form goes out of the window.

I hope they they do go up

I hope they get promotion. It'll be nice to see all three teams in the PL. I've not time for N'cassel these days I'm afraid. Some positive comments on the Sunderland board yesterday about us and the atmosphere and support at the Riverside. (y)

They seem to have found a bit of form now that Neil has had a bit of time to stamp his mark on things. Think they will make the play-offs now.

I'll be happy enough to see them go up to be fair. Would much rather play Sunderland at home, rather than most other Championship clubs who literally bring a bus-load of fans.

Equally, it will be funny if they have to spend another season in League One.

The problem is the disgusting chants they bring with them, and not just a small minority.

Raving about Roberts yesterday. Just about everything we said about him after a couple of games 😂

I would say I'd like them to come up if we don't go up. It's a lively game (despite not being a Derby... Apparently).

The big issue I have is the f*cking awful away allocation they give on 'police advice'. Usually around 1800-2k in a half full ground.

We should allocate them the same percentage of stadium seats that they grant us.

Looking at the table I reckon Rotherham to go up automatically as Champions then one of Wigan, MK and Plymuff to join them. Then you have four teams fighting for two slots in the Play Offs Sunlun, Oxford, Sheff Wed and Wycombe. Very competitive just to get in to the PO. Not bothered it will be amusing to see them fail but we can look forward to a "non-derby" next season if they make it. Win - win.

No other dog in the fight, though I'd quite like MK to fail as they should not be in the football league at all.

They could do with another couple of years of humility.

Fans dressed as red seats etc, now they know how it feels
