It was a 5pm kick off in Argentina. What's strange about that? England playing well. Three good tries in second half has put them in control.
These sort of kick off times are fairly standard on the other side of the Atlantic aren't they? Most Major League Baseball games have the opening pitch at ten past the hour, which I believe is to allow broadcasters to start their coverage on the hour and have a brief introduction before the game starts.
We have football games kicking off at 5.15, 7.45 etc. Is that strange too?It kicked off at 8:40pm.
