These sort of kick off times are fairly standard on the other side of the Atlantic aren't they? Most Major League Baseball games have the opening pitch at ten past the hour, which I believe is to allow broadcasters to start their coverage on the hour and have a brief introduction before the game starts.

Seems like they use the standard on the hour, half past or quarter to for football in Argentina.

You'll notice that they are both different times to 4:40pm.

There was nothing strange about the hour the match started in to begin with, here or in Argentina, so why would I have ever been referring to that?
It's unusual having a match starting at 20 to though.
