A wonderful article about Wilf Mannion's career after his League ban, still taking teams apart whilst playing for non league Cambridge United at the age of 38.
Imagine being a fan or indeed a player at a humble non league club and you sign one of England's all time greats - and it turns out he has still got the ability to take on and bedazzle opponents and hit a killer ball and also score goals.

I know there is a picture of Wilf in the clubhouse at Poole Town FC down here in dorset



The photo shows Poole Town's 4 Internationals in January 1956 Wilf Mannion (England) Stan Rickaby (England) Horace Cumner (Wales) Stan Jones (Wales). Also another international who played for Poole about this time was Len Phillips (England).
