Wilder squad is starting to really take shape.

With Clarke looking likely today, it’s surprising how many of his own players he can now field in a starting 11.

With additions in all key areas of the pitch
But are they his 'own players'
I think the days of managers buying their own players at top clubs , of which we are one are long gone., He has a say of course but there are definitely some club signings in those 10.
We also have a long track record of managers not buying players.

Just ask Warnock , Karanka, Woodgae and Southgate

I know we live in a pretty much instant success demand in football these days but with Wilder reshaping this team are fans expectations misguided, is this a long term plan rather than just this season?

It’s undoubtedly a long term plan with ambitions to compete this season. We have a pretty young squad with a few experienced heads, topped up with loans. Exactly how it should be for a team with our budget.
