Wilder Rumours

Problem is, Wilder is more concerned about himself and his reputation than the club that employs him. Guarantee if this rumour was true, he’d be out of here in a heartbeat.

Don’t trust him at all. Don’t think the players do either.
He wouldn’t be gone before we found a replacement (Wagner) and before we made sure there was no compo to pay out.. we defo wouldn’t be wishing him happy birthday through our socials tho!

My work didn't say happy birthday last month. I've not applied for another job 😂
You’d be a bit miffed if they’d publically said it to everyone else in your role for the last 5 or so years but for some reason forgot you? I’m not buying this “rumour” but something is a miss. Too many super fans on this thread, and some of whom don’t even go to games.

It would somehow be absolutely hilarious if relations were at such a petty level that the clubs social media account refused to wish Chris Wilder a happy birthday as a deliberate snub. Much more likely that Wilder himself wasn't fussed, birthdays are for weans.

Jesus H. Christ, some Boro fans need to give their heads a shake. You only have to look at the XG table to see that we’re performing better than the league table suggests. 100% results have been more than disappointing, but it’s hardly CW who deserves the blame. You think he told the team to defend like strangers Vs Cardiff? Stop the rumours, stop the whinging, grow a pair and support the f’kin team!

I’m sure you felt great typing that, but the table doesn’t ‘suggest’ anything. We’re in the bottom three and don’t look like coming out of it any time soon.

I’d love to be proven wrong like.

Ahh xG the shoulda woulda coulda stat.

This club has had big questions 1664135350731.png over recruitment since Gareth was sacked in 2009.
The issues have never been resolved.

We`ve consistenly pizzed money up the wall on bang average players and complete wasters.
Only Tony Mowbray - with a wise eye for talent, actually found players on a shoe-string, including Leadbitter, Ayala and Friend - who made it into the Premier League.

It begs the question of what or who has been a constant during that period?
Once we start to examine below all the emotive, subjective, tripe posted on this thread - will we be able to find answers.
We`ve been here before - ignored the "elephant" in the room and gone round in circles.

12 Managers [including Caretakers] in 13 years.
Its getting to be a habit - we`re catching up with Forest.
Not something to be proud of.

Gareth Ainsworth has just completed 10 good years at Wycombe and has taken them places beyond their Wilderest Dreams - even the club on Saturday put a tweet out celebrating their own "....rock n roll star.....".

It would be interesting if we could stick with Managers instead of throwing the baby out with the bathwater

Wilder - blagged then moaned
Warnock - fixed us and brought the love
Woodgate - treaded water
Pulis - he was dreadful
Monk - he was dreadful
Agnew - struggled, out of his depth
Karanka - was out of his league
Mowbray - built a promotion winning team
Strachan - nearly destroyed the club
Southgate - had the carpet pulled

Highlights included, Tony Mowbray’s innate ability to pick a player and spot a bargain, Peter Kenyon pulling in the players for Karanka, Warnock building a squad for next to nothing.

Karanka was the only long term option and that was a success, our best transfers have been from the bargain and brought in by the Fixers Mowbray & Warnock.

Kieran Scott was supposed to be the puppet master bringing in scandi bargains, moneyball free agents and premier quality loan players.

Didn’t realise the XG table was now being used to determine league position. Sorry Chris, all is forgiven.

I do, rumours are dangerous things and they are just that, rumours.
nope, I'm simply choosing not to give you any information on this, you don't even know what the 'rumour' is, or how I know it, because I haven't given a single specific. That's how it's staying. Now behave with your nonsense. You are naïve and ignorant of the facts, so be it, that's your issue not mine

I didn’t ask for any information? You seem to have a lot of self importance here with your ‘facts’ Somebody has told you something that may or may not be true and that’s that. I think we’ve all probably heard what you have been told as with most of the rumours floating about Teesside. As for having any issues with your info I don’t really care tbh, I have my opinion of downing and you have yours.
