Unless Anna Turley slept with his wife? That would give anybody a good excuse to constantly slate the Labour party after been a member of it.
 
Regardless of whether you're Tory or Labour (and I voted for neither in the last election but would vote Labour if there was a GE tomorrow), the banter in the deleted tweet from the Labour staffer is rubbish and requires no defence, imho.

Pathetic. The funny thing is I know how wrong you all are which is amusing. Seen as I’ve been on FMTTM over 10 years and remember posters like smoggyrainbow and I think there was someone in guisborough too who peddled Tory propaganda then why wasn’t I? And if you could be bothered to find my posts from way back when would probably find me confronting SR over his posts. Best thing is I’ve actually spoken to you in person more than once Rob so you clearly don’t know your board members too well... surely I’d have stuck out a mile 🤔

Cooper its the way you post, I know loads of Tories and they just come out with normal Tory views, I even agree with some of it myself, yours seems a bit strange at times as if you are posting propaganda. If you are just an average Tory punter then fair enough but you do post some strange stuff.
 
Your opinion is based on my posts over the last year or so though. It’s not based on my entire posting history as you probs won’t have noticed me if I was posting pro labour arguments. Also I would say the attitude of some posters on the old board such as fooman (TerryWay ) and the vile stuff posted about brexiteers probably hardened my view. Why would I want to vote with someone like that. Plus it seemed that people like that were able to post them views due to their political standings behind aligned with the boards owner. I can Remember being quizzed about why I would have a “be more kind” tattoo on my arm. If you aware of that song by Frank Turner. I wouldn’t them words and the artwork on my arm if I’m some form of raging Tory.... would I?

There were many comments in both directions that could be called inappropriate. Abuse wasn't one-way and it's disingenuous to say you wouldn't vote with remainers because of the abuse they posted, yet you did vote with brexiteers who posted equally scandalous and provocative stuff.
 
All sorts was posted on there by said poster. I’m not going to go and find specific threads. I checked in there a couple weeks back and there was a thread where said poster had posted something and many posters after said it was the sickest post they had seen on the board. If I can be bothered going back and findin it I will

Brexit Vote was in 2016 but in the 2017 GE you voted Labour, by your own admission, so the ‘vile’ stuff about Brexiteer’s wasn’t really a factor, you should vote how you like and changing your mind is fine but it comes across as trying to justify your actions by implying blame on others.

AM - won’t let me copy your quote but Brexit was not a factor in 2017. I never said it was. It was after this and run up to 2019 I am talking about. I had no issue voting labour in 2017 as there was no incline they would try and reverse the vote

So as this reads your political view has changed fundamentally because of the posts of one individual on a social media messageboard? An individual you dont even know or likely to ever know? Do you ever read twitter? Do you not see the ridiculous comments on both sides daily? But no your life has changed because of a poster called Terry Way. I think most reasonable people would call that pathetic. NoT in any sense of the word is the poster Terry Way a reflection of the normal views of supporters of the Labour party. Basically like you have also demonstrated he is a troll.
 
No I don’t have twitter thank god I couldn’t put up with that. My political view changed because of Brexit. Something I have stated many times. I voted leave but didn’t really care but the attitude 2018-2019 of remainers actually made me more ardent. That went for a lot of people who switched
 
Just to add... not you personally but you admit that person is a troll. Why is that said person not banned or even condemned by other posters from the left?
 
You started a nothing thread, ignored questions about it and have now speant the rest of the thread trying to explain how you're not a Tory activist.
