Why is Malley not starting?

The lad comes off the bench and gets the Sky MOTM award. He shows a range of passing from a central midfielder that we've not seen for a long time. The lads confidence will be sky high right now so to not start him is poor from Warnock IMO. We have NOTHING to play for. Surely this is a perfect opportunity to give him a few games and see how he does. I hope to God he doesn't end up going out on loan next season and we end up spending unnecessary money on yet another plodder in the middle of the park.

Warnock has watched him all season. He's also brought loads of kids into the first team over the years, he knows how to handle the situation best for the lad and the club. I wanted him in myself, but unlike the majority of our fans, don't think I know more than Warnock about managing a football team.

No, but the commentator outright said that he was giving it to him because it was his debut and that Kebano was the best player on the pitch.

I think it would be worth taking akpom or watmore off and bringing malley on. Get a third man in midfield, get a bit more control of the game, some more passing going. We don't need 4 wingers on the field.
