Why do the Aaron Connolly threads keep getting locked or deleted?

This isn't directed at you specifically I'm just quoting your post. "You're all acting" should be changed to "The majority of you are acting" but I agree that I can't see another side to this...
He hasn't done anything that the entire squad, and every other player in every other team isn't also doing...
They're all out in restaurants/bars with their friends and girlfriends all the time.
Sol Brynn lives near me (or his mam does if he's moved, I don't know), he was in the local pub over xmas.
He's also posted when he was out with his girlfriend in Glasgow before coming back...
Uche was at the Christmas markets in Edinburgh...
Payero is currently in York...
Other than Connolly's history. What's the difference?

TBF - you are right mate. There isn't really any difference.
One thing that's interesting. Both he and his g/f deleted some of their earlier Insta pics. I wonder if that was because of comments they had in response to what they posted... Or if the club has a 'social media' adviser who spots these things and advises players!

What was he actually doing on the picture? He was sat in a restaurant wasn't he?
If he was falling out of a nightclub at 3AM that would be different but it doesn't sound anything like that.
I think its because of his reputation that people are looking for something to crucify him with straight away, whether he's actually done anything wrong or not.
It's crazy how times have changed.
Merson and Gascoigne had an interview where they admitted to drinking multiple bottles of red wine every day, including the nights before Boro games... and they're heroes for it...
A new signing goes out for a meal in Newcastle with his girlfriend, probably to celebrate signing for the club, and he's ridiculed... Probably by the same people.

- Whilst I doubt the club are too bothered about fmttm (maybe I'm wrong in saying that) - I wonder if they do watch all the players social media.Heroes was probably the wrong word, but my point is... Nobody looks back and says "Merson was taking the p*** out of the club by doing that", even though he probably was...
This guy hasn't even kicked a ball for us, and there's been 2 - 3 threads deleted, slating him, for having a meal and possibly a couple of drinks with his girlfriend.

I think most people would say that he definitely was. There's mitigating factors in that the club didn't exercise due care to him but at that point in his life he was taking the **** out of most people.
The difference is that Gazza and Merson were drinking less than the management
