Why did we sign Forss?

He was fourth top scorer as a centre back. Equal with Tav, and scored only a couple less than our two main strikers.

He was in a side that didn't score many goals. 5 over a season for a centre back in such a side is absolutely a good return.

Didn't say it wasn't. What I said was if you read my post is he should be doing better.

I thought Forss did well when he got his 10 mins v Rotherham. Laid off the ball nicely a couple of times and if I remember he put in a good pass to Muniz in the box. Hoppe has been scoring for the u23s. When Wilder wouldn’t let them pick number 9, 10 or 11 when they came what did that say? He actually said out loud that those numbers were being kept for new signings (that never arrived). Great for building confidence in Hoppe and Forss eh?

It reminds me a bit of the CR7 situation at Man U

Forss/CR7 not fancied by their managers - but are by the board/scouts/backroom - so manager isn't playing them out of spite. Ronaldo not playing in Manchester derby and Forss not coming on when we're losing away at Coventry (for one example) is equally mental. It'll show when new manager comes in and Forss starts getting game time.
