Not sure how long he's lived in Cornwall, but it's geographical location may have had something to do with his decision to join Argyle

Loved my past two visits to Cornwall. Lovely part of the world and like you say, has a feeling of been disconnected from everywhere else.I lived in Cornwall and it's like a separate entity. Well out of the way of the rest of GB and easy to access Europe. Plenty of beaches, water and sun too. A great place. Not at all like the insular place that Straw Dogs for instance depicted it.
Although the people would not say no to independence.
