Who would you have as captain?

Yes, Dael would lead by example but also has the Boro passion doesn't he. And also would not be shy to have a word with players.
I guess alongside him big Darragh might feel he never really relinquished his captain's armband. Only injury took that away from him. Perhaps he needs a period of fitness first.
 
Lenihan is a better option that Fry, Fry is just too quiet and doesn’t guide or organise enough. Im not one for a token gesture so for me it should be our best leader and that’s Lenihan. Fry is also far too nice and doesn’t have that nasty edge that’s sometimes needed.

Hard to say as we don't really know what they are like in the dressing room but Fry and Lenihan would be obvious candidates.
 
Morris but ok with him or Fry.

Lenihan too would have been one of my choices but sadly he's injured again apparently. Not sure how long for. The lad has no luck.
 
Lenihan. If not him then Morris. Not sure what Jones is like but interested to see what his leadership capabilities are like.

I don’t see Fry as captain material, not vocal enough for me.
 
Fry and Lenihan can’t captain from the treatment room , where they spend half a season
.Jones and Brittain are 27 and are here for a while , it should be one of them .
 
I think the big positive in all this is that there are several genuine options; Fry, Lenihen, Jones, Conway, Morris are all strong choices.

When was the last time we could say that?
