Who was your MOTM?

Tough one to call last night. Lots of really good performances.

Jones scored two really good goals.
Both the CBs were very solid and RVB getting on the scoresheet
Crooks was excellent - Who was my MOTM

I'm sure other people will have players who caught their eye.

Some very good performances, could make a case for half a dozen, but for me it was Barlaser.

Won the ball back in good positions and made some excellent passing decisions. I was worried pre match with Hackney not being in there

We were talking about this on the way back to the car. A very difficult choice. I suppose Jones for the two goals? But that is unfair on Barlaser and Crooks who contributed a lot going forward, the defence which snuffed out PNE almost completely. The only player I would exclude would be Dieng. (He really needs to get more involved 😜)

Don't think anyone had a bad game though. Bangura looked a bit nervy but got a goal. Rogers was a bit wasteful as he can be but got an assist.

He even went on a little dribble on his own 2nd half just to warm himself up

Everyone played their part.

I really liked the way that Barlaser played in parts.

VDB and McNair were great at the back.

Even though he never scored, I thought that latte Lath was a handful all night long, and he seemed to be good in the air.

Dijksteel was positive. A couple of small mistakes but he has been sat on the bench doing nothing for so long, that is understandable.

Preston were very poor. Quite how they are around the playoff places I don't know.

McNair for me, he has stepped into Lenihan shoes and we haven't missed him, which says it all, had a great game last night next to VDB.

Barlaser a close 2nd, yes he sometimes misplaces a pass or two, but that's because he often looks for the telling/forward pass, I think his positive play, constantly looking forward and seeing the game in front him, changes the dynamics of the way we play on the pitch.

Hopefully he will stay in the team, together with Dijksteel RB, allowing VBB to stay in his preferred position.

True, but the tables suggests they're better than they showed. They're a typical, inconsisten championship team, and we put them to bed without fuss.

Reading their forum ot sounds like these types of performances aren't unusual and they've had a few matches where they just haven't turned up.

One post saying, the early season form and league position is keeping Lowe in a job
