Who is the better “finisher” Kane or Vardy

Vardy reminds me of Nemeth a bit, played into that inside right channel he's lethal.

Of course Vardy has far more strings to his bow.

In our side I'd have Kane, better hold up play, tav would be worth 40 mill+ after half a season playing off Kane
 
According to epl stats vardy misses more big chances than any other player, except Bamford. He's missed twice as many as Kane this season. Not sure what constitutes a big chance
 
I can’t believe this is even a debate. The naked eye tells you that Kane is a superior player in every department except for raw pace. Finishing stats tell you that Kane is a far more accomplished finisher.

The Vardy fairytale is compelling and I was delighted to see him win the FA Cup yesterday. He’ll go down as an all time Leicester legend and rightly so, but in 10, 20, 30 years time when people talk about the great strikers of the PL era, Kane will be mentioned alongside Shearer, Henry and Aguero, but Vardy won’t be.

Vardy retired because Kane was first choice. Rightly first choice too. Vardy would of been good option to bring for Euros but given his form it would be questionable whether he would be called up if he did make himself available.

I’m going to go for Vardy despite Kane being a great player with superior stats.

At the end of the day the football greats are remembered for winning trophies for their clubs.

The strikers who are most remembered are the ones who make the big contributions to the silverware.

A bit like Trevor Francis at Forest, Peter Withe at Villa, Andy Gray at Everton, Shearer at Blackburn, these players stand out because of a significant contribution to clubs who do not win the league very often. It’s harder in those sort of teams.

Vardy was magnificent in the season Leicester won the premier league.

If Harry Kane can do the same for Spurs then he will become a great but until then he’s just another very good player.

The question is who is a better finisher not who has won more trophies.
