Who is not feeling it with Michael Carrick?

Despite my initial reservations I am really enjoying how we play under Carrick. We kick it around at the back and then boom, we are in the final third and creating chances. We must be pretty frustrating to play against.

My only slight concern is we are so dependent on Jones and Akpom - if anything happens to those two we are in the clarts big time. We really need to keep them fit and contracted for as long as possible!!

Keep it up Carrick! I'm loving it so far (y)
The Blackpool fans I was sat wiith were saying that - one second we were lolling around at the back, next we were on the edge of their box. Made the pitch look half its length.

Even a broken clock tells the right time twice a day.

I will give him it, the team is playing well. We are definitely experiencing the new managers bounce.

Big test is Norwich the first decent team he has faced.
Making yourself look very bitter. A broken clock is right twice a day? How can you even say that about a rookie manager who has only lost once in 4 games. Makes no sense

Football is a game of opinions, I am just expressing mine.

When karanka was given the job I was not the keen on his appointment, but he won me over.

Fantastic start, the players are trying to impress the new manager to stay on the team. We should have 4/4 wins, Preston away was unfortunate and against Bristol we made poor subs.

I like the partnership that is developing up top.

I just think the fixtures have been kind to him.

Still makes no sense to say a broken clock is right twice a day. As you are basing that on nothing. He doesn’t have experience as manager so any pre judged opinion is strange. The facts are is he’s improved us and we are unbeaten in 3 games and playing well and scoring goals and he’s giving players a chance and bringing on one of our own in Hackney. I get we shouldn’t be getting carried away but at the same time we need to give credit and look forward.

It's very effective. Someone one here (no idea who) was slagging it off a few games ago but it seems obvious why we are doing it. It wears the opposition out, draws them forward and frustrates them. It appears to be a very confident and patient approach.

We have a backup for jones in Willis. He may not be as good, but he’s a like for like replacement and jones now knows he has competition for his position

Last night he reminded of Jones last season. Just going out and doing his stuff. It's refreshing. He will adapt and learn and lose some of his nervlessness but lovely to see.

It's good to see the plan coming on - have the replacement ready for when or if the first teamer leaves. McGree is starting to show why we bought him too. And Forss.

Agreed, probably retract my comments about id sell him tomorrow based on last night

This broken clock seems to be getting the time right a lot! Up the Michael Carrick

Looks that way, feel harsh bringing the thread up again but to be honest I still don’t get the unwarranted pre judgement of a rookie manager. It was and is bizarre
I know

Carrick was a class act as a player I didn’t doubt he’d take to coaching.

To take a side that couldn’t buy a win
Last month to Carrow road and win with no newly bought additions wow phenomenal.
