Watched it yesterday and enjoyed it - Thanks for tip. (y)

Heads up, Don't watch any of the trailers as in my opinion contained too many spoilers if you haven't read the book.
I watched them afterwards just for interest and glad I didn't watch them before.

we avoided slumdog for years, just couldn’t see any attraction, then we did sit and watch it.... fantastic film.
mind you that parasite which won all the awards, watched that.... terrible, turned off after an hour

Falling sky’s... an American aliens have landed sci-fi , fair few series to keep you busy .
bit like walking dead but with aliens
 
Adu - terrible acting, weak storyline but somehow very watchable - showing the plight of a young immigrant boy in Africa.
 
I detected the areas close by, nothing of any interest came up .
that was around 1998, remember being quite excited and expectations were high
