Which subscription service do you get most value from ?

I need to get round to moving from Apple Music to Amazon Music, seeing as I have Prime and will likely never not need it.

Amazon Prime Music isn't great. You have to get Amazon Music Unlimited to get what you get from Spotify. Even with Prime it'll cost you £8 per month. I think it's £10 if you don't have Prime. You can pay annually to get 10 months for 12 though.

virtually yes. I used to see it as a pain but then I thought 'why add them all again'? Surely you can just add stuff as and when you remember or want to listen to it.

Yeah, that does make sense, but then I end up forgetting about bands for about 10 years

That's the beauty for me. You can be trundling along one day and think "Powderfinger!! Forgot about that album" and its like discovering a brand new album again. All of this stuff is well catalogued in your subconscious, if its stuff you like.

I've switched between Napster, Deezer, YouTube Music, Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon Music over the years. Basically just use whatever I can get a cheap deal on.

I sort of use Spotify as a 'catalogue' of sorts, in that you can keep your account/playlists even when not subscribed.

I think I'm just gonna have to write a list, as I need to download some for my memory stick in the car too, as bluetooth is doing my head in.

My car keeps defaulting to the first song alphabetically on my phone, as I get into the car, and it's driving me crazy. Would expect more from a 45k car and an iPhone X! Every time I hear Ed Sheeran "A-Team", I get into a fit of rage  Ed Sheeran's not even on there for me either, it's on there for our lass. It's making me mad, even thinking about it haha!

That'll stop once you delete Apple Music!

Really? Now there's an incentive!

Yeah, I'm not fussed on the £8, I pay about £10 for Apple anyway. Didn't even realise there was a non-paying version of amazon music, for prime customers....

I have it but rarely use it. I use Spotify Free which is good enough for what I look out for.

Probably my specsavers standing order of £15 per month for contact lens.

Otherwise I'd be blind as a bat!

I can probably get the lenses cheaper online too....but I'm happy knowing if anything went wrong my options are around the corner and I get free check ups and eye tests every 6/12 months.

Ideally need to look into laser eye surgery...but whenever I think about it, I get a tad nervous knowing they burn part of your eye

I'd say thats worth it if you wear lenses every day Marv.

However, if like me, you buy dailies, and only wear them when swimming or want to look at your most handsome, you're much better off getting them online.

Mine are monthly's. Wear them 24/7 for 30 days. Sleep, shower, swim in them so for £15 I certainly get my money worth!

But the same lens online are nearly half the price....but then that doesn't include free eye tests, contact lens check ups and any emergency appointments I may need for whatever reason. Hence why I'm happy staying with Specsavers.

Fair enough. I used to have those but developed blepharitis and had to give them up.

BTW an eye test is normally only about £10/20.

"NUS - saved hundreds over the years and fairly easy to get a card (For example amazon prime student they give you 6 months free then its 39.99 a year so pays for the card right off the bat)"

Is that actually legal, or is it a fake student card? (Or maybe you're a student)!? - Genuine question, as I wasn't sure that there isn't some NUS subscription thing that I didn't know about. 👍

Now.TV is my biggest. Then Spotify.

you have to be enrolled on a course, so no, not illegal assuming he is

I’m glad I don’t have poor vision as I’m absolutely **** scared of anything to do with eyes. The thought of an eye drop has me nearly having a fit never mind having to put a contact lense in. I’ve got the jitters just thinking about it

It’s legal, just rare to be able to do now. Most courses require you to verify in person but every now and then one lets you join and jt gets posted on hukd. Home delivery, boom, nothing illegal about it. It’s a private institution ran for profit, not a passport.

BBC Iplayer, ITV/Channel4/Channel5 players mainly. My wife uses Netflix a lot. We have Amazon Prime but rarely use it for streaming. IPTV for sport. I have Sirius XM in the car, but I need to keep that up for the location/anti-theft, remote start etc. features and every time it's due for renewal I call to cancel and get the latest deal.
