Which subscription service do you get most value from ?

All the talk last week of the licence fee, and people comparing it to Netflix led me to think which subscription services I actually use. I probably use Netflix twice a month, Amazon Prime even less than that, Apple TV next to never.

However I use Spotify pretty much constantly (at least a couple of hours a day) whether to listen to Podcasts, build my own monthly playlists or listen to other peoples playlists. However much I pay for it (tenner a month??) I think it's amazing value for money, and having pretty much every record you'd ever want to listen to on your phone still blows my mind.

Netflix for me - most evenings. I use amazon prime mostly for the tennis, makes it so much easier to follow the majority of play. I left Spotify for amazon music, because it was a couple of quid cheaper a month.

Amazon Music, I also get a fair amount of use from my Prime subscription by way of delivery savings. Hardly ever watch Prime Video, its rubbish imho but I just get it as part of the package.

I've started to use Netflix a fair bit recently, I used to switch my subscription on and off but now I tend to just leave it on.

Netflix and Spotify for me. I probably use both daily, or maybe Netflix every other day.

I have Amazon prime which I rarely use (I need to cancel that), and I also have now TV which I only really use for the sky atlantic/hbo stuff. I've been catching up with the new series of curb on now TV which has been excellent so far.

I have a TV licence and nothing else. No Sky, Spotify, Amazon or Netflix. Is this unusual? Am I a digital dinosaur? And if so, what am I missing? I need to know because BBC iplayer won't work on my telly after the 17th and I still haven't decided what to do about it.
Any suggestions?

I have a 1 hour 20 minute commute each way so audiobooks via Audible gets a lot of mileage for me, literally. I buy a lot of the daily deals at 99p when they sound interesting, spend my credits wisely and pick up cheap ones where possible.

Amazon I do approx 150 orders a year so prime delivery, on top of prime video, is well worth the money.

Netflix we watch loads of shows

Sonos, we have a load of them around the house, plus car/gym/travelling use

Crunchyroll - love Anime and it puts it all in one place

NUS - saved hundreds over the years and fairly easy to get a card (For example amazon prime student they give you 6 months free then its 39.99 a year so pays for the card right off the bat)

Usenet - for downloading 4k UHD content at high quality. worth £3 a month

and probably my matched betting subscription as it makes me money.

Amazon prime for me. Order a fair bit so the savings on delivery alone makes it pay for itself. Amazon music I think is great as part of the deal without spending more on Spotify, plus I've binned Dropbox as a photo backup as prime does what I need for that element of things. Don't watch much on prime video, but it's always good for a back-up if we haven't got anything recorded on the Q box to watch

I currently have Prime, Spotify, Netflix and YouTube Music but I've just bought a brand new tv so wanted to try stuff out. I got Spotify for free for 6 months so I'll only keep that for that period. Netflix and prime will be getting canned soon. I used a VPN to setup my YouTube Music via India so I pay £1.30ish per month in Rupees.

I also have an IPTV sub which is a bargain compared to paying full price for Sky and I have a premium scraper service with Kodi which costs about £2.50 per month which let's me stream full quality Blurays with 4k HDR and Dolby Atmos etc.

I also have a Virgin Media package including 350MB Internet which allows all the other stuff to run smoothly.

It's the dodgy stuff which is by far the best value. If there was a single subscription that did what Kodi does then I'd definitely subscribe. I'm pushing £100pm even with all those dodgy subs.

Spotify by a very long way. Use it every day and morning noon and night usually.

I use netflix infrequently but find it useful when I do.

Spotify and Netflix, both used a lot by me and the family every day.

I have amazon prime but very rarely watch anything on it. I only have it as I got half price subscription when I went back to Uni part time a couple of years ago and qualified for a student half price deal. That expires in March. I won't be renewing.

By use : The BBC first, Sky second, Netflix third, Prime a distant fourth.

By value : BBC, Netflix, Prime and way down Sky.

Same here. Except I don't use iplayer on the telly either (though I could if I wanted to). If something's been on on the telly and I've missed it, then I've missed it. I don't know where people get the time for all these other things.

I sort of agree with this, sometimes I actually feel a little bit stressed about all the stuff I've got to catch up on, but I can't resist the urge to put something on my little list if I've missed it. Especially if I really wanted to watch it.

Spotify gets hammered by all of us under the family plan - but wife a huge user of Netflix and iPlayer the former I use less frequently but the latter rarely. Son has a subscription to PRIME and wife does watch a little Prime TV for specific shows like Outlander and Marvellous Mrs Maisel, I have a Usenet and a VPN subscription both of which are used less these days but can still be useful on occasion.

Daughter has asked for a Disney subscription as a birthday present this year so that'll be going on the TV when it's available.

Outside of that I subscribe to cbtnuggets and was gifted a subscription to pluralsight late last year - both of which I use pretty extensively at the moment as a learning resource for various Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware, AWS and Azure platforms. I probably use these more than anything but Spotify.

I need to get round to moving from Apple Music to Amazon Music, seeing as I have Prime and will likely never not need it.
Just cannot be bothered to add all my bands/ albums again

I'm assuming that they all have the same bands/ albums pretty much?

virtually yes. I used to see it as a pain but then I thought 'why add them all again'? Surely you can just add stuff as and when you remember or want to listen to it.
