Where's good to go out in town on a Thursday night?

Got a lads meal out on Linthorpe Road next Thursday and looking for a few beers after. It's years since I've been out in town midweek - where's best to go for late night drinking?

Depends on how old you are, from what I remember the empire was more a student younger crowd.

I picked my son up from Swatters Carr about midnight a few weeks ago and there were quite a few people about that part of town. I think Swatters, TS One, Dickens close at 12 on a Thursday. Other parts of town are 10-11 closing.

Otherwise it's Flares, SOHO and the Empire, which are open until 3am.
