Where's Col?

What's it like this cuckolding lark?
You tell me mate. Not something I have any experience of. But you seem to know about it. I'm all ears and eager to learn more. Well, I'm not all ears obviously. I do have a bum for a face but most of the rest of me is ears.

You only think you have no experience of it. ;)

Not sure what that's supposed to mean but it does sound a bit racist. Col just can't handle people disagreeing with him. Imagine flouncing because you think that two posters think that you're weird. The entire board thinks that I'm weird. And they're right. I am. I'm still posting on here though.
I don’t think you’re weird fella. Now, if you had a facebum that’s different…..

I had a (not very nice) mental image of your appearance but the addition of loads and loads of ears has confused me. I give up.

You don't understand the ways of the bum faced folk mate. I'm the clan leader. I have an entire harem to myself. The rest of them wouldn't dare go anywhere near my bum faced women. It would mean exile. And none of them want that.

Disagreed with my then girlfriend in the Kirk one night many moons ago. Told her to stick her lift home and walked out. Might not seem like a great problem, but I lived in Eston at the time. Took me freaking ages to get home but at least it was a nice night.
I once attempted to walk 10 miles home in the middle of the night from SanBuenaventura to Monclova after something similar with one of my exes. I stupidly gave her the car keys (ever the gentleman) then proceeded to stomp off into the night. I got about halfway when she came past and picked me up. Was quite scary out there in the middle of nowhere really, bandit country.

The younger me walked all the way back from Swansea city centre to Dunvant after an argument with the girlfriend, forgetting that she had my house keys in her bag so I couldn't get in. Had to wait hours for her to get home. I never made that mistake again.

Apropos of nothing, Just checked, as it got me thinking, and it’s actually 13 miles.

I was doubly stupid. I'd walked about a mile and my ex pulled up, opened the car door and told me to stop being so stupid (I was) and to get in the car (I didn't ), so I told her to stick her lift, again. Doh!

It was five miles for me and it was New Years Eve so it was freezing cold and she had my wallet as well as my keys in her handbag so I couldn't even do the whole using a bank card to break in to my own house thing. Just had to wait for her to get back trying to keep warm.

Before we were married in an argument she gave me her engagement ring back and I threw it on a field in Overfields. We were both so shocked the argument ended there and then. It took over a hour to find it.

Col, don't be daft, keep taking the asylum on, it will soon just be down to me.

I do wonder why I get so amused by threads like this…🤔

the way they run is like click bait… im guessing that’s why admin has left it run so long…

it Seems to have blown right up out of all proportion and resulted in the usual bitching…

There has been many a time when i have clicked a " Like " on a thread only to find that somewhere further
down the thread another poster has made a very good counter point which has then made me feel that maybe I should
have read the thread in its entirety before adding my "like'.

This is one of the reasons that I love this forum. We all have our own views and initial immediate reactions to
other peoples views or thoughts but I'm sure that we all learn and can be educated from those differing views.

The other reason that I love this board is because I have lived for over fifty years on the opposite side of the world
and in that time, one could count on one hand the amount of Boro fans that I have encountered.
This board brings me close to my beloved Boro fans, homeland and roots and I, for one, respect every single one
of you and love to hear what your thoughts are on any subject and am deeply saddened when we " lose " a poster
for any reason.
This is another one of those times.

Come back Col, you are loved and appreciated much much more than you could ever know.
Regards from Oz
UTB.

He'll be back mate. He always comes back.

Nothing to do with the particular individuals referred to in this thread as I simply don’t know any of them and so can’t add informed comment but personally it feels like this Board gets more and more like Love Island every day. Lots of people dish out the snide comments, have a dig, put fellow posters down and seek to denigrate them and their views. Some even seem to consider themselves ‘royal’ posters with superior views that the lesser folk like us simply can’t appreciate nor have the right to challenge with our lesser brain power.
If we do challenge they throw their hands up in horror and we get the ‘do you know who they are’ comments from fellow self appointed Royals and sycophants. I currently ignore two people I feel act in this way as nobody’s opinion on here is more valid than the next persons. It’s a message board where Boro fans express views. It has a fairly competent Administrator who removes inappropriate posts. It has an ignore feature to stop seeing the comments of people you don’t want to read.
We don’t have gold card members - people don’t need to tell us how long they have posted for - it doesn’t make your comments any more interesting or informed. To survive the Board needs new blood - threads that spice things up and get good challenging debate going. This type of thread undermines that ambition.
Just stick to posting your opinions and accepting they will be challenged appropriately. If the challenge is inappropriate have the confidence Admin will deal with it or use the ignore button.
Have a lovely day
Thats correct theres certain people whos views you may disagree with at times but wouldnt dare challenge for fear of being put down and patronised. Been on here nearly 20 odd years and im sure it didnt used to be like that but it also didnt used to be so political.

Are we talking the fabled 'clique' here? Because it doesn't exist. I've been here nearly as long as you have but I've never felt intimidated by anyone on here or scared of giving my own opinion.

Stop it, there is a clique. It's not hard to spot and I have been here over 20 years.
