Where is Liz Truss?

Very strange approach by going on a few selected radio stations, rather than the National big hitters. Didn’t really answer anything put to her.

Was asked about the North Sea environment issues, didn’t really seem to know much about it or willing to commment.

Didn’t realise I’d been taking for granted the fact the previous regime has been putting out ministers for questioning each day.

Obviously thought she would get an easier ride and the fallout of any **** ups wouldn't be as visible if on the nationals. She's such a weak speaker in a crisis though - the BBC Tees interview didn't go well for her AT ALL.

Judging by twitter, non of them have gone well for her, probably as she's an imbecile.

Here the journo from BBC Radio Lancashire absolutely has her in knots, she tries to shut down the questioning and he won't let her. Frankly she is pathetic, plainly only made PM as she is being run as a compliant patsy.

We. Are. So. Fukked.
OH. MY. GOD.

Tell me this is a bad dream. That was awful. She says the same thing about local consent over and over in different ways and without any authority or charisma to even make it sound a little convincing. Embarrassing.

To succeed in politics you either need charisma or competence, Truss has neither, so how she has got to be Prime Minister is unfathomable and is one of the great mysteries of our time.

Hopelessly out of her depth and unable to understand, never mind deal with, the issues at hand, an insipid apostate with no depth or political intellect, what hysteria possessed the Conservative Party MP's to vote for her above some of the other far more capable candidates is beyond me, but it was a truly awful decision.

She answers everything via predefined soundbites, mostly they are vaguely related to the question she has been asked, but not a direct response. The reason she does this is because she is incapable of thinking on her feet, she's an intellectual lightweight with no more than a superficial understanding of what she is talking about. If a proper economic expert got to interview her they would decimate her.

Oh they still are. Andrew Griffith yesterday. Chris Philp today. Both incompetent chancers just like the last regime.

Fair play to her for not cancelling a range of pre-arranged local radio interviews just to speak to the more chummy national broadcast set who they all regularly bump shoulders with, but for her team to think for a minute that these interviews would be some soft soap sessions where Truss could set the agenda, and that BBC Radio Stoke, Tees, Bristol, Norfolk, Lancashire, Kent and the rest would all just be pleased to have the PM on demonstrates the disdain the conservative party machine has for the people of this country.

It's not even 10.30 and Truss should now know the impact her every day stupidity has on the day-to-day lives of the people she is going to rely on at the next general election.

The interview about mortgages on BBC Bolton (I think it was) was really bad too. Basically highlighting with the increase in interest rates she's undone and made worse the finances of people with mortgages.

Crazy to think that Truss would have helped mortgage holders' energy bills by inaction rather than acting.

As usual James O'Brian is highlighting on LBC right now how useless her performances were this morning. Worth a listen.
