If it was London, it would have kicked off already, looting etc however there is still time for them to riot in sympathy with the mancs.
just as an aside, how can they say that the virus is so low in London compared to the North East /West.
I’m not having it.
12 million people in generally cramped conditions !.

Beat me to it. Rioting is strictly a summer sport. It's too cold, too dark and PC Rain is too often on patrol in the winter.

Riots only happen in summer, warm nights and hot blood.
Weird how in summer there were hardly any restrictions and everyone could fly off to Ibiza and enjoy beer gardens, and that hugely disruptive things like no deal Brexits and big old lockdowns are only scheduled for the dead of winter, isn't it?

Well, that’s certainly an option, yes. Erm, but here’s my proposal: Let’s get tough. The time for talking is over. Call it extreme if you like, but I propose we hit them hard and hit them fast with a major and I mean major leaflet campaign, and while the tories are reeling from that, we’d follow up with a {whist} drive, a car boot sale, some street theatre and possibly even some benefit concerts. OK?
Now, if that’s not enough, I’m sorry, it’s time for the T-shirts:
“Johnson Out” … “Tory Life Forms, No Thanks” … and if that’s not enough, well, I don’t know what will be.

I honestly can't see widespread civil unrest until there are food shortages. Which I am expecting in Jan/Feb. Before then? Nah. People these days are too self-centred to take to the streets in defence of others, only for themselves.
