Did I miss something yesterday or was it not mentioned by the Prime minister?

That is more important to me than finding out when Primark and the pound shop are reopening.

That'll be saved for the next embarrassing crisis, or it might be pubs reopening but you can't meet your family there.
 
Just heard some of Boris' press conference from yesterday, he mentioned car showrooms and outdoor markets. How is this more important than seeing family and friends?

At least mention it!
 
They're holding it back in the knowledge that people will do it anyway, especially after this whole sorry Cummings fiasco. People are just going to see their families now anyway.

The Tories will then be able to blame the public when the death toll rises again, meanwhile the economy might just about be able to avoid going completely off a cliff before Brexit and they'll be able to pat each other on the backs about it publicly.

In reality the government will likely just give out some vague unsatisfactory guidance at some point. Surely your question should be when will it be safe to see friends and family? It's likely you'll have to make your own judgement based on transmission rates and the vulnerablitity of family members.
Lots of people seem to be doing it anyway. Not something i'd support personally, but i can see why people are, especially n families where they may all be back at work in proximity to other people anyway.
 
Over a month ago according to Stephen Kinnock.......... but only if you're delivering essential supplies, e.g. a birthday cake, a crumble and a lamb curry :rolleyes:
