Ha, love it, I hope you're correct in that assumptionI suspect even after Starmer wins in 2024, it will take a few years to join EFTA and even then we won't be back at 'normal' because too much damage already done and irreversible.

Sounds like a normal night in redcarReally hope that the virus isn’t being spread at the moment. Drove down Redcar Sea front on the way from the office (where I was the only person in) and at after 6.30 it was like bedlam. Queues everywhere, masses and masses of people, no social distancing, big groups of kids, looked like they had been drinking, one threw a bud bottle at another as I got stopped by the lights and they were all squaring off - looked about 12. Totally depressing.
A big recession that will get really bad by 2022, pick up by 2024. Much like the early 80s.
Depends what normal is. My neighbours on both sides have had people round, parties, travelled far and wide every day this year. They have pretty much ignored the lockdown and act as though nothing's happened.
