What's the heaviest music you listen to/enjoy?

What I would count as rock
Early stuff Deep Purple with it changing singers Black Sabbath ditto. Popular Rock - Free, Alice Cooper, Mountain, GFR , Thin Lizzy, Golden Earing, AC~DC . Heavy Metal -Scorpions, UFO, MSG, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Whitesnake, BOC, Saxon.

Quite like some of the light pebble /rock/shale stuff from the Fanny bands Like Aerosmith, Boston, Foreigner,Kiss.

Never liked Iron Maiden, Mottley Crew, Mettalica except *one, Def Leppard, Guns and Roses.

Into Blues and Folk,Punk,New Wave. Thats the beauty of being a fossil and around when it was happening.

Older stuff from Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Pearl Jam etc newer from Pigs * 7, RATM, Thin Lizzy

Stoner Rock from All them Witches,The Devil & the Almighty Blues, The Heavy Eyes, Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats

Probably stuff like Deftones and Rage Against the Machine. Bits and pieces of At the Drive-In and SOAD too.

But go down a notch or two from that, and you'll find loads of my favourite bands, hovering around the pop-punk and emo part of the spectrum. New Found Glory, All Time Low, Zebrahead, State Champs... the list goes on.

And there are some great contemporary British rock bands like Mallory Knox, Lower Than Atlantis and Press to MECO.

I probably have the "heaviest" taste of anyone I know, but I've seen Scuba's posts before and I think the bands I've listed above will be something akin to the Lighthouse Family as far as he's concerned.
I quite like a bit of Lighthouse Family sometimes 😎
