What's everyone doing for Yorkshire Day

After the rough few months it's great that we can all come together on this forthcoming Yorkshire Day to celebrate all that's good about the area.
Even better, the great day falls on Saturday!
Good friends from the North of the boundary River, put away the evil thoughts of 1974 and join us.
Please share either your plans for day or ideas that may inspire ... as for me, I'll be proudly flying my new Yorkshire flag ( bought last year in the heart of the great county, York) and I'll have a few glasses of Sam Smith's , of which, I'm pleased to say, we can easily buy here in New York . I'll also petition Governor Cuomo to change the name to New Yorkshire. A simple and morale boosting change.

It’s my daughters 6th birthday party. We are having a garden party. Preparations have begun at 7am and it starts at 1pm 😬

Not to mention the hours of food shopping which haven’t yet finished it started the alcohol shop (not for the kids of course)

I hail from Durham on Teesside but live in Yorkshire. So i'll be sneering at the locals and telling them that my club's from Teesside not Yorkshire

You must be desperate to get back to Yorkshire after your enforced temporary stay in the ol' USA!

I am living presently in Yorkshire proper, that is the Yorkshire Dales, and tomorrow will be a normal Saturday but i will raise a glass somewhere "local" to the occasion.

I shall be making a batch of my new delicacy, The Creme de Yorkshire. Its essentially a Yorkshire pudding filled with vanilla custard. Bloody Gorgeous!

Saturday will be the first day of the County cricket season, so I will follow the countries most successful cricket county from a safe distance.
