Whatever happened to food in nightclubs?

So you go to a club
amd have chips and battered sausage
from the kiosk
then you leave on your own
and you go home and you cry
and you want to die
Then you remember you
also ordered a fish patty
and it's still in your coat pocket
and you've got two red stripe
left in the fridge
so you have those
and you watch the match highlights
including Jamie pollock's goal
against Sunderland

The Madhouse did food in the early 90s, it was certainly better than the boiled burgers from the van on Albert Road.

Madison had a dining area to the left as you walked in. You had to go through it to get to Macy's.

The fairground rides at Millennium visited out of season so usually november through til March when they weren't travelling. It was Paul Warwick's rides initially but local firm Crow's got in on the act eventually

Not a nightclub but there was a shop in Stockton that catered for people leaving nightclubs.
Porkies - used to sell roast potatoes covered in meat gravy. Was beautiful especially when you'd had a skinful.

Also El Grecko's stayed open after the clubs fjf extra drinking and food. Became Dusk till Dawn before it closed.
Dusk till Dawn - was that The Eclipse at one time?

i would also add that Tall Trees used to serve jacket potatoes in the library bar downstairs on the right near the entrance. sure if was jackets and hot dogs.

Can't remember the name of the Madison restaurant, but I can remember always ordering a Malibu burger, so I'm guessing it was called Malibu??

I used to love a jacket potato at Tall Trees. It was completely random as a food choice at a nightclub, but they were delicious. Seeing as there was nothing else for miles around, so no pizza shops etc, it probably made a fortune!
