Halfway Point after 23 games Maximum of 5 defeats, 9/10 wins, 8/9 draws.
Our season will be decided in December and we'll need one hell of a strong finish.

Hopefully we can get our head screwed on as far as having a balanced squad and managing the season. Soak up the pressure, move forward with every opportunity, give the cup ties to the 2nd string and stop giving up the pitch from throw ins and free kicks.

1.5 points per game. One win out of those first 2 matches. Possible for me, cause some teams come down from the Premier League in shellshock, or imagining it will be easy.

Then take it from two matches in. Give it a go. Try and win matches, rather than thinking about not losing.

Only losing to Watford, Bournemouth, Norwich, Brentford and Cardiff?

14 game unbeaten run and 6 wins on the bounce??

This is the championship remember. We’ll beat some of the so called big boys and get beat of some of the so called minnows.

At least one on the teams relegated from the prem will struggle, I could see Bournemouth struggling and possibly even Watford.

It’s just a broad brush look at the forthcoming season. From last season’s league positions I’ve replaced promoted teams for teams relegated from the prem, promoted teams from league one with those relegated from the championship.

I’ve taken the top five as untouchable (home and away), the next eight as draws (home and away) with the bottom eight teams being clear wins both home and away. It’s very broadbrush and not even a fag packet calculation at this point before the start there are too many variables to make it worthwhile doing anything more in depth.

I started doing this a while back after folks either writing our chances off too soon (like under Mowbray and Monk) or worse still carrying on like we were going to storm the league with no evidence to suggest otherwise (like with Woodgate and Pulis)

Most of the time it’s panic attacks brought on by PTSD so boring league predictions, transfer speculation, formations and even the excel moneyball spreadsheet.. I find it helps.
Probably has the opposite effect for those reading it or trying to make sense of it tho.
Sorry to hear that. I will never call you brain scribbler again.
