Over 4,500 up on last season's opener despite price rises and Live Sky showing - well done Boro fans. The Club needs to invest this week in the squad to be fair to the fans and the manager.

I see Hull got 16k despite charging only £20 which was nice of them for the fans but didn't bring a lot more fans in, possibly 2k? more.
