What was the third passenger jetliner produced?

As I remember the Comet might have dominated the market but the crashes due to cracking at the corners if the windows led to them all being withdrawn while they sorted the problem out and that allowed Boeing to steal a lead they never lost
 
That was exactly what happened. The Comet went on to become a successful military aircraft. It was easy ahead of it's fine except for its one fatal flaw. The next three UK jets were VC10, BAC 111 and Concorde (sort of).
 
The second jet airliner in the world was the Avro Canada C102 Jetliner. It first flew 13 days after the Comet. It was the first jet transport in North America and by flying from Canada to the USA made the first international jet transport flight in North America. It was not developed as the makers were ordered to concentrate on jet fighters.
