When things start getting stressful towards the end of a season I need to find other ways to distract myself. I find soothing music helps and for some reason my record collection has really grown this season.
Neil and Crazy Horse, Weld, triple and Gary Numan singles double album.
Might save Weld for the weekend to really stir the neighbours up.

Went to a record fair on Sunday and came away with these. These fairs aren’t that good for me, it’s always just loads of sellers with the exact same sh*t and I’m not interested in classic rock so there’s hardly anything for me.

I've never really got on with record fairs personally. there always seems to be a few people wandering around with extreme BO, and most things I've bought when I've checked discogs I could have just got it in better condition for less.
I also like to read up on pressings where possible, especially jazz stuff where there are often tons of versions and a lot of grey market rubbish ripped from CDs then pressed to vinyl

Yeah that’s another thing about them, the BO has been a factor at every record fair I’ve been to (which is only 2 or 3), it’s disgusting. All of them stank of BO and rollies.

Been listening to a couple of long defunct artists "The Dear Janes". Also "And All Because The Lady Loves". Both were superb. Also listening to the new Treeboy & Arc album and some S.G Goodman.
Plus a CD compilation that I made of our own Suzanne Elizabeth Marron in 2018. She was truly wonderful but all her stuff seems to have disappeared of the internet. Also another CD compilation I made which I called The Crucial Three.
The Crucial Three were a very short-lived band whose three founding members were Ian McCulloch (Echo & the Bunnymen), Julian Cope (The Teardrop Explodes) and Pete Wylie (Wah!).
McCulloch sang, Cope played bass, and Wylie played guitar. A drummer, Stephen Spence, also joined.
The band formed in May 1977 and split in June 1977.
All the founding members going on to biggers stages.
This is an imagined album of what could have been. These tracks are complied from tracks up to the time they released their first albums with their respective bands

few i've been working through last few days
king no-one - burden of empathy. debut album from york based band, first found them via blood records and seen them live about 5-6 times since. great looking record pressed in Teesside
the only one my gf wanted from rsd and it was out of stock, but managed to get it from the states. great album and decent bonus tracks
completionist pickup - great rare-accoustic tracks but poor release - hype sticker states "includes their hit semi charmed life" , and it's listed in the track list but plays a different song entirely and another track is wrong too, how do you mess up a bands biggest track?!
as a huge undertale fan I had to get this for RSD, again had to be an online pickup
faithless - to all new arrivals. second time pressed on vinyl and originals are mega money, live the album, poor pressing with crackles however
sleep token - Even in arcadia. didn't pick it up on original release, went with the bad world liquid splatter.
