It sounds a bit like Willo the Wisp to me, is this it?

It’s been bugging me for years!!!This is really bugging me now!
It's the tune that Bernard Gent used to play as the fans left Ayresome after the match.
Allegedly it was an advert for Peugeot or some motor company
Spot on.Don't know its origins but it used to be played over the tannoys at Ayresome Park - certainly during the 1970s - about 5/10 minutes after the final whistle, if that helps?
Somebody else said it my have been an ad for Peogeot. Whatever car yes It may well have been but sadly doesn’t help identify the music - as mentioned above it must have been on vinyl for Bernard to play it. I wouldn’t have thought it would have been an original piece of ad musicIt was a tv ad for the Renault 5.
Brilliant rendition.Posted elsewhere on another thread that may disappear soon.
Needs sorting before I leave this mortal coil - could be a book in this somewhere ( or at least a decent column). If he still has his vinyl collection then as soon as he sees it it will be sortedIt was 100% a piece of library music used on a TV car advert... I think Renault is right. I've asked Bernard about it a couple of times before.

A French advert dubbed for British TV?It was definitely for the Renault 5.
Might be worth asking Renault but I doubt it, we really need the name of the ad agency.
Was Bernard a DJ then who would have been sent vinyl promo stuff?KPM issued library tunes from british composers to DJs ect.... take a butchers
It was used on an ICI petrol advertEdit... ICI petrol has just popped into my mind. Think he may have said that... I'm going back over 30 years here.
