What is the coolest thing you own?

I had a katana back in the day. Cool then, not so much these days. I also had a BSA Bantam, now that was cool.
I've had a few Harley Davidsons over the years and a very innovative Buell. The Triumph was more of a bucket list sort of thing - it's nice enough but just doesn't quite do it for me.

I own the Adidas Gazelle which is currently on display in the Golden Smog in Stockton.

It's a piece of graffiti art that was originally on the side of the old Springs' health club on Teesside Park and was done by local artist 'Karl Striker'.

When it was getting demolished I went down there and asked one of the guys on site if it could be salvaged. "I'll have to ring my boss" was the reply. Anyway, the "boss" rang me a few hours later and said he'd get one of the lads to cut it out for me, "for a small fee".
Fair enough. So I went and picked it up and handed over the readies.

My mate owns the Smog and asked if he could loan it from me to show it in his new pub and it sits there to this day.

I even got friendly with the enigmatic Karl Striker after contacting him to see if he was cool with me owning his artwork. (He was delighted it was saved!). He even offered to come down and tag it in a clandestine operation late one evening when the pub was shut. You can see the 'Karl Striker' tag in the top left corner next time you visit there for a pint!

Somewhere in my garage in a box I have the team sheet from the 90's when Middlesbrough played Man Utd on the final day of season with the latter winning the league, I was invited to meet the players of both teams after the game and got it fully signed by all. I haven't seen it for many years though and hope I haven't somehow lost it.

Jealous beyond belief.
Godlike genius.

"Tonight we sleep with the girls from the streets"
Yep, was a 30th birthday present from my wife.

We went to the "drifting and tilting" thing at the Barbican years ago, Jarvis Cocker, Damon Albarn etc interpreting Walker's songs.

It was rumoured Walker himself was there in the audience, despite being a bit of a recluse in his later years. We were on the balcony so had no idea but apparently a fan in the stalls spotted him by the mixing desk afterwards and got his copy of Scott 2 signed, which my wife subsequently purchased from him.

Its the only mobile I have and I use it every day.
Its often a talking point.

"Does it have the snake game"
"They last forever"
"You never have to charge them"
"House brick"
"I had one of those".

Certainly "cool" - if I drop it, it doesnt break.
When it falls down the bog or in a puddle - it just dries on the radiator.
When everyone else is moaning about needing to charge their fancy iphones - I dont have that problem.

Its "cool" alright 😎
Well if its been down your bog roofie then i hope you tell the cooing hipsters where its been!!

Ronnie O'Sullivans personal mobile number on my phone (legitimately obtained as he did some exhibition work for my company).
