What has Nadine Dorries done?

It's getting more and more like Trump's America....spread false gossip, make sure it is seen then delete it.

Loys of tweets and accounts being deleted. Zero apologies.

Sums up this government. Spreading lies and propaganda. When they get caught out, just hide the evidence. For all Cummings obsession with stealing our data and using it against us, he's really slow to click on to the fact that the internet can't be deleted.

With Dorries it would be easier to ask what she hasn't done. A few years ago she got into a long running feud with Tim Ireland, an Australian born blogger and search engine optimisation expert. She made false accusations about him regarding all kinds of things. He took legal action against her but two high court judges threw it out on a technicality because his solicitors sent the notice to the wrong address (her constituency office instead of her home address).

BBG - You have missed some of the detail out there though. Tim Ireland ran against her as an independent (and lost) and following this tried to have the result voided stating she had made false remarks about him during the campaign. The legal action he brought was a petition to have the result voided and his lawyers were that bad they sent the notice of action to the wrong address. He choose not to contest this. So how can you state she made false claims, if this has never been proven. How do you know Tim Ireland isn't making false claims after losing against her?

Internet loony Tim Ireland is facing a £150,000 legal bill after the High Court threw out his petition to have Nadine Dorries’ election in Mid-Bedfordshire voided.

According to the BBC: “Judges threw out case as Ireland was late filing his papers”.

Nadine’s lawyers speak:

“This petition was part of Mr Ireland’s continued campaign of harassment against our client. Our client believes that the petition was maliciously brought and had no merit. We are pleased that the right outcome, namely dismissal of the petition, was achieved. Our client was elected with a very clear majority and, with this petition now dismissed (and with the petitioner not having sought to appeal) she can continue with her job of representing the people of Mid Bedfordshire.”

Its a deliberate tactic. Starmer is clearly seen as a threat so it is in the nature of right wing Political thought to discredit in any way possible. The strategy is to disseminate a lie, let it stay there for people to see, then withdraw. Gutter politics pure and simple from a gutter dwelling politician.

I wonder what her lawyers will say about this?

She has always been an awful, vile person so I wouldnt expect anything less.

As someone else mentioned, they are clearly very worried about Starmer

Cooper, a long post there but nothing to address the focus of the thread.
Would you care to offer an opinion on whether an apology should be issued for posting a doctored video?

Of course he won't .... or if he does reply it'll be another deflection

Seeing this response makes me so glad I blocked the Borisette troll. I can't imagine how angry I'd get to see someone trying to defend someone posting a libellous and clearly doctored video in order to attack a political opponent. That kind of behaviour I find abhorrent
