what book are you reading ?

Currently reading Nothing to Lose by Lee Child in the Jack Reacher series of books.

Recently finished reading Origin by Dan Brown in the Robert Langdon series. Christ was that a difficult read.

I normally have a couple on the go at the same time:-

The Nanny State Made Us - Stuart Maconie which is especially pertinent at the moment.
The Five - Hallie Rubenhold about the victims of Jack the Ripper

Finished The Beast, The Emperor and The Milkman by Great Ayton's own Harry Pearson which is probably the best book I've read this year so far.

"Just started 'Relentless' about Miguel Indurain. looks lime a long read. "

It would have to be, in keeping with Big Mig's style - slow and ponderous, before blowing you away on a couple of paragraphs per chapter. I've not read it, does it touch on his relationship with Conconi ?

I have just cancelled my subscription to audio books - nothing like flicking through the pages and tend to drift off when listening.

I've just listened to (not read):
To Have and Have Not by Ernest Hemingway - It wasn't for me.
Step by Step by Simon Reeves - Excellent and would recommend.
Treasure Island by R L Stevenson - This was read by Timothy West and enjoyed just as much as I did reading as a kid.
Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer
Mad, Bad and Dangerous to Know by Ranulph Fiennes - Would recommend

Presently listening to Start the Car by David Lloyd and have Thanks, Johnners by Jonathan Agnew and Farewell but not Goodbye by Bobby Robson to listen to.

Mr Jumper - not got that far yet, the first chapters are about how he began cycling as a kid about 11, joined the local cycling club that had about 5 junior members. The owner of the club would use his own car a fiat 500 to support the juniors in local races. Indurain was a star in the making and went from junior to an amateur with the club continuing to grow. The new team was Reynolds who later became Banesto. Looking forward to the rest of the book,
