as the meat eating hordes empty the shelves in every supermarket across the country, its good to see that they are not desperate enough to sink to the depressing lows of trying meat alternatives.

if there is any good that comes out of this situation, i hope its that people remember the supermarket fiasco and start shopping and supporting local independent traders.

was in Asda the other night & all but their own - super saver - style baked beans were left, a rack full... so I bought a tin, 22p I think, to see if they really are as bad as they are obviously perceived to be... I will update later in the week..

the asda cheap beans are dreadful. just FYI :)

I couldn't get anything veggie the other day (processed wise) so went veg shopping.. empty empty empty apart from aubergines and asparagus.. so I was happy :)

The farm shop in Thornaby had load of stuff the other day.
