What’s the best thing about a Sunday?

What a great song. It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it?

You wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you think "Sunday, bloody Sunday!".
You've mastered the art of copying and pasting.

I get Sundays off usually so I quite like them. All I've done today is walk the dog, watch a few films and then do a bit of reading. I'm enjoying it so far.

There is still a more gentle, unhurried feel to the day. Clearly not as it was in the 70’s, but a certain ease descends on the world.
Even better now I don’t have to get up tomorrow!

Sunday afternoon's are great - cooking a roast, chilling out, glass of wine, footy on etc, it's maybe my favourite part of the week - but a switch goes off around 6pm and Sunday evenings are filled with doom of the thought of the working week ahead.

This thread has just reminded me that Sundae Club existed. Yes, I do know the difference between a sunday and a sundae. I'd completely forgotten that I really like that album. Haven't listened to it in years.

I hated Sundays for years, as a kid it meant church in the morning and rubbish tv on afternoon counting the hours down until having to go to bed for school.

These days I love it as I try to do something fun with my Daughter, she doesn’t have school yet and doesn’t get Sunday blues but it certainly helps me beat them.
