We've got the best Tavernier brother.

I doubt that Marcus Tavernier will ever top score a European competition, captaining the team, or lift a title. I hope I'm wrong though. James Tavernier has done unbelievably well to come from League 1 and the Scottish 2nd tier to where he is now.

He’s done well in the Europa league for a few seasons in a row though so he’s shown he can do it at a much higher level than championship football. It’s a tough one as I think it’s all position relative and they are at different stages of their careers.
Would be interesting to see him play in England. I’m sure he’d be at least Championship level based on his Europe exploits. But Scotland is a nothing league.

I think he would be lower premier league but if he doesn’t make the move anytime now I don’t think he will get chance to play in the Prem as he ain’t getting any younger. The chance to play in the champions league next season though if they qualify will probably ensure he stays though

To be fair to him he’s probably happy up there winning regular trophies, hero status, playing in Europe every year, big crowds.

I’d be surprised to see him in England unless he gets a big offer. Although I’m sure Rangers pays well.

It was the big one, so obviously it's always going to be a major point of pride for him, but he's only won 1 major trophy at Rangers in his 7 seasons there.
That was the league title last year.

He might win the Scottish Cup on Saturday too, but if not, that's 6 of his 7 seasons without a major trophy.

If you judged Juninho on his League Cup Final performance against Leicester you wouldn't rate him either. Or Tav of the Boro during one of his many less than inspirational performances. You need more than one game to judge.
Tav sorry didn't have Pontus Kamark and a referee that had lost his yellow card though
