West Stand Upper Tickets Withdrawn From Sale for Derby Game

There's nothing about it on twitter apart from a single Boro fan who looks like he's made it up and there's nothing on the clubs website.

I'm sorry but I think people need to be careful about spreading nonsense like this, I thinks its inciting violence.
Well, it's a fact that you can't buy a ticket in the WSU for this game but can for other parts of the ground.

They've probably done that while they investigate whether this is true, but the fact is there's nothing about Derby fans buying tickets in the Boro end; on the clubs website or twitter.

The source of this is a young Boro fan who seems to spend his time tweeting about Derby. Its one thing inciting trouble at a game but he doesn't look like he could fight his way out of a wet paper bag.

I hope they stop him getting in as well.

Think that shark has been jumped frankly.

Yeah it probably has but threads like this don't help either. Both clubs have a few weeks to either defuse this situation or let it fester.

I'm old enough to know what usually happens in situations like this though, the gobs#ites on the Internet will be stood at the back when it kicks off and you'll have a few innocent people getting hurt.

From quickly reading the Derby forum a few days ago, this is what we have to look forward to:-

5 or 6 fans will create a human chain around the Riverside stopping anyone getting in
3 or 4 fans will attend but turn their back on the game
3 or 4 fans who would usually go will not attend in protest and therefore Steve Gibson will not get their money
3 or 4 fans who usually usably do not go will attend and therefore Steve Gibson will get their money
Some Derby fans will Boo Steve Gibson
Some Derby fans will be silent in protest

Perhaps they have got their act together more by now.

I expect tickets will be back on sale soon, once the interlopers are weeded out. Fairly simple to do these days based on post codes, purchase history, digital accounts etc.......Probably just been taken a bit by surprise....Derby keyboard warriors really aren't that bright are they?!

And in Derby fantasy world.....Boro, Wycombe, HMRC and Dell then all withdraw any claims, Mel Morris gifts the ground to Mike Ashley and the Rams stay up

You know what will happen if this isn't defused you'll have all the local lunatics turning up and it'll turn really ugly.
Yes, the so called Derby Lunatic Fringe seem to have underestimated the Boro Lunatic Fringe in all this bravado?!

Things are moving on with the administrators and FA getting together today I believe so hopefully things will be sorted out soon and calm down prior to this game

You know what's gonna happen it'll come to match day and people will be so wound up that a few innocent Derby fans will get a pasting.

I think this needs to stop now.
“Inciting violence” 😂

First match at the Riverside with no away fans then? ;)
