It’s weird how Olympic football is so much more important to some countries.

I guess the U23 element gives them more a chance to compete and win. In the last 20 odd years we have seen Mexico, Nigeria and Cameroon win it and Paraguay get to the final. A European team hasn’t won the Gold Medal match since 1992 Barcelona Games.
