Slightly off topic but a mockery nevertheless. Spoke to mate today and an old friend from Holland had turned up on his doorstep out of the blue. He had no problems getting in will almost certainly get back to Holland without a problem. Just shows how much they enforce this lockdown on us but let other countryfolk roam free.

Dutch rules on foreign travel:
  • Do not travel abroad or book trips abroad until mid-March, unless your journey is essential.
  • Holiday travel, visiting family or going to a second home are not essential journeys.
 
My brother in law lives in central London and travelled to his second home in Cambridge for Christmas with his wife, daughter and his two grandchildren. Today he and his daughter are travelling back to London for work.

I am sure we all know someone who is doing something similar, but we will never get over this awful disease whilst we have idiots amongst us and they are allowed to get away with this.
 
Plenty of fines being banded about but not being collected or enforced, so do as you please attitude until you get in that ventilator and then munk about the lack of compassion.
