Shows the 2 results were not lucky.

The Boro management team have managed to get a lot out of limited resources for these 2 games. And the players have applied themselves well.

Please don't relax at Cardiff, but push on.

Our hands have forced to play a lot of attacking players and so far it’s working. Crooks in the deep position is working to. Payero getting better and better and should have another assist tonight if it wasn’t for Watmore. Bring on Saturday

I’ve said since last season that we play our best football and get the best results when changes of players and style are forced upon “The Management“.😀
 
Without appearing glass half empty Peterborough and Barnsley are by a distance the worst teams in the Championship and we only put Peterborough to bed in the last 10 mins and we made Barnsley look like Brazil early doors. I expect we will see off an equally poor Cardiff but I need a little more time before I heap praise on Neil and his staff.Until we have a fit squad, he selects the best 11 and they play good football in a formation and system we can understand and with a style we yearn for I will keep my powder dry.

Hilarious - we can’t win with you then because perfection doesn’t exist…
 
A clue as to what we are trying to do on the pitch would be a start. I get the injuries are catastrophic at the moment but from pretty much day one I have not been able to fathom what they were doing all week in training from what we see in the pitch. If your chuffed with Warnock good luck to you it is of course a board of opinions.

i think he found a system because of the injuries but that midfield balance tonight was spot on , crooks, tav and payero all knew each others roles and played very well together. jones and howson were also excellent as attacking wing backs.
Yes it was only Barnsley but their wasn't a bad performance or weak link tonight everyone played their part.

Many posters are quick to criticise, after an unlucky defeat at Hull, but not as quick to praise after 2 deserved wins.

Don't think he was asking for it have to be perfection? He said he wants to see a few more results, so this just comes across as hyperbole.
 
Surely it's more appropriate to praise the players and the ref given they carry the can everytime we lose. Its only fair they get the credit when we win... Surely?
 
Two wins, 6 valuable points, but I'm yet to be convinced that this is a more sustainable run of form.

We were poor against P'boro for a large period of that game, but looked pretty strong in the latter stages and last night I think barnsley looked decent (and should have scored twice, save for some great goalkeeping), but our goal which seemed to knock the stuffing out of them.

There was some positive signs, but I also think we lacked shape at times too.

Hopefully the 6 points will give us a bit of confidence going into Saturdays game.
 
The team have performed for two games - because the "Management" have had no choice but to stick with the side for more than one game.
The "injuries" (?!) which have kept players out has been described as a "crisis".

We have a Manager who believes in his tactical nouse, but drops those on the up and replaces them with favoured players.
Keep it up lads.(y) Particularly those who have previously been described as "not ready" - but are now getting minutes and playing well [Nod to Payero].
Up the Boro!
